| Asset
based finance lender Enterprise Finance Europe (EFE) has recruited
Jonathan Nicholson as a director at its Leeds office.
Jonathan takes up the major strategic appointment at EFE
after great success in a number of top positions at National
Australia Bank (NAB), which owns Yorkshire Bank.
Born and bred in Yorkshire, his new role at EFE involves
developing the firm’s already active asset-based lending
operations across Yorkshire and the North East.
Jonathan, aged 42, will work with the Leeds-based team providing
competitive receivables-led funding solutions in the £500,000
to £10 million range to regional businesses.
Jonathan joins EFE after a highly successful ten-year career
at NAB where his most recent position was divisional general
manager for specialist sales, responsible for assets of more
than £1 billion. In this role, he managed four departments
– payments, factoring & invoice discounting, asset
finance and international banking.
Jonathan, a keen amateur snooker player and accredited referee,
lives with his family in Harrogate.
EFE director Jeremy Smith commented: “We are delighted
to have made this top level appointment and look forward to
working with Jonathan as he grows our business in Yorkshire
and the North East.
“He has a deserved reputation in the highest professional
circles for outstanding leadership and the capacity to deliver
powerful growth in a fiercely competitive market. At EFE,
he will have ample scope to employ his undoubted expertise
to our mutual benefit.”
