EFE Hires South Coast Hot Shot
Enterprise Finance Europe (EFE), one of the UK’s leading
asset-based lenders, has appointed a corporate finance specialist
from the region to boost its presence in the Solent area.
34 year-old Richard Preston joins EFE from Bank of Scotland
Cash Flow Finance, where until recently he was an Associate
Director in the Solent Region. As a Director, Richard will
be putting his expertise of selling receivables finance, working
within the Southampton-based team, targeting predominantly
SMEs on the South Coast.
A former graduate of The University of the West of England,
Richard has risen rapidly through the industry since he joined
it in the late 1990s. In addition to Bank of Scotland Cash
Flow Finance he has also been a manager for both GE Commercial
Finance and Lombard Business Finance in the region.
Said Richard: “I look forward to utilising my experience
of this dynamic marketplace, both on the working capital and
transactional side, to ensure SMEs in the Solent area benefit
from EFE’s unique asset-based proposition.”

Married with a young daughter, Richard was formerly a teacher
running residential summer schools in the West Country as
well as tutoring UN-sponsored diplomats.
